Pastors Armando & Melissa Amaro

Armando and Melissa have been married since March of 2006 and were involved with the youth department at HFCC for almost 2 years when God called them into Children’s Ministry. They have been serving as Pastors over the Heir Force Department since January of 2007. Their desire is to see children grow in the LOVE of JESUS by teaching on relevant topics with humor, humor, and more humor. Pastor Armando is a big kid, a child of God, and his motto is “Enjoy the life God has given you”. Pastor Melissa is one who is very thoughtful and observant. She is sensitive to the Spirit and knows when a child is in need of prayer. Her sweet voice is a voice of encouragement that will uplift your children. Her motto is, “Dance for Jesus like nobody is watching.”

HeirForce is designed to assist in preparing children for life, in a world of hate, greed, and destruction. Our mission is, “Reaching Pre-Teens with the LOVE of JESUS!” We believe your children are at a very vital stage of life. As we impart the Word of JESUS into each child, through our actions, our words, and the Word of GOD, they will learn to put their confidence in JESUS the CHRIST.

With relevant topics, such as “Power of Forgiveness” and “He Loves Us In and Out of Sin,” using music, video, lights, games, comedy, and more, they can take what they learn and apply it to their everyday lives. Services also include a live band leading praise and worship and setting the mood for your child/children to hear from GOD.

We also have indoor and outdoor activities before and/or after services, such as Pool, Ping Pong, Dodge Ball, Kick Ball, Football, Basketball, Tag Ball, and any other game you can think of playing with a ball.

At the end of each month we like to celebrate birthdays by providing cake and drinks for each child. Once every 2-3 months we have group events such as Laser Tag, Pool Parties, Movie Nights, Guys/Girls Sleepovers, etc….Every year we take a trip to Discovery Camp, where your children get to join other children from all over in an environment of Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and fun. We believe camp not only brings your children back different as individuals, but it also brings back a group that is closer, having stronger relationships and unity.

Another way that we encourage the children is with our very own HeirForce Store. Your children can earn HeirForce Points by participating in games, answering questions, bringing their bible, good behavior, and much more. With the points they earn, your children may purchase drinks, food, pencils, CD’s, MP3 players, Bibles and many more items.

At the end of it all, your children will leave knowing the LOVE of JESUS, and in turn our ministry vision will be accomplished, “Winning in Life!”
