Heirborn (0-5yrs)

Rolando & Tina have been married since 2004 and were blessed with their daughter Raquel in 2006.  They served in the Heirborn Department for 6 years before being named Heirborn Pastors in January 2009.  They strive to help children build a strong foundation in God’s Word and equip them to walk in the calling the Lord has for them.  Rolando & Tina, along with their awesome team, use various teaching methods to ensure your child has fun while learning about Jesus.

The Heirborn Department is for children ages 0-5 years old.  We know that children of this age are eager to learn so this is a great time to plant seeds of faith and to start developing the understanding that Jesus loves them and wants His best for them

In the Heirborn Department, we work to impart God’s Word to the children by using teaching methods that involve all their senses.  Some of the teaching methods we use are hands on lessons, activities that get the kids involved, real life examples just as Jesus taught, learning through listening and acting out Bible stories, crafts, games and many other activities.  We have an exciting time of Praise and Worship where your children are taught to pray for one another as well as learn and experience the fundamental importance of praising God.

We have a team of great volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to get to know your children, to teach them and to share God’s love with them.  When you bring your children to the Heirborn Department, they will be assigned a unique number that will be displayed in the main sanctuary in the event your attention is needed.  Additionally, each child will wear a color-coded wristband that identifies their classroom, their name, and any allergies or special instructions.

The last Sunday of the month is Birthday Sunday.  Every child with a birthday in that month is recognized and given a special gift.  We also have other events throughout the year that bring children, parents, and volunteers together for a time of fun and fellowship.

It is never too early to start teaching children about the love of Jesus.  So we hope you will check us out and let us be apart of your child’s life!
